For Caroni Spa, 3D projection and the construction of dies and tooling for metal working have represented a natural evolution of its production process.

First of all, the Customer’s requirements are analyzed by the Caroni Design Center which, after an in-depth feasibility study - embracing both technical and commercial aspects - prepares the project. Once this has been approved, the dies are constructed. At this point, the Tooling shop, together with the Quality Service, tests the component which is produced in series only when the pre-established quality standards has been achieved.

Obviously, the drawing can be furnished by the Customer.

DESIGN

The design of any component, die or machinery is carried out in 3D with the aid of three CAD stations.

In the next phase, the mathematical data are sent in real time to the manufacturing machines (CAM).
